Started in 2005 by pitbull owner and founder of My Dog Votes T-shirts organized the first series of candlelight vigils for dog owners to stand in solidarity with dog owners in Denver and the Province of Ontario and solemnly mark the enactment of breed bans in those places.
Today, over 75 breeds of dogs have been banned or restricted in the US and Canada, and a growing list of dogs are banned in the U.K., Ireland, Germany, New Zealand, Australia, and many more.
Innocent dogs have been seized and killed, and dog owners live in fear, or forced to move, or worse, surrender their beloved dogs to await certain death.
